What up, yo? It’s been a long while. I’ve popped back in to tell you that Her Other Life is now available EVERYWHERE!
I also wanted to catch you all up on what I’ve been working on.
I’m writing a TV show with my childhood best friend! And it’s not just for fun!
And that’s all I’m allowed to say about it for now!
Other than that, still subbing with the Beaverton school district – I’ve been lunch ladying at the new high school. The walk-in fridge is GINORMOUS and could hold 50 people easily. I have a crush on it. I’ve got some SPED jobs coming up and a few days in an elementary library.
I’m in charge of the Fun Run at my kids’ school, and this last week we made a video to show at the kickoff assembly next Friday. I wore a dog costume.
Yesterday, I made a bazillion copies for the Fun Run packet and one of them has a typo on it. I’m probably going to do it over again. I should, right? I have a reputation to uphold. *snort*
Yes, it’s an apostrophe. If it wasn’t an apostrophe it was gonna be a comma. Autocorrect makes me doubt my grammatical instincts. 🙂
I’m also in “Annie” with my daughter, Arlo. She’s a background orphan and I’m in the ensemble. I play Mrs. Greer – “Bubbles? No, soap I think.” Look at that! I already have my line memorized.
The show is in December. I’m having a blast! It’s been since college that I’ve been in a show. There has been some stage managing and directing over the years, but this time I’m singing and reacting and getting to wear costumes!
So, I’m busy, which is how I like my life to be. Eventful, but not stressful.
Which is why I haven’t listed all the books that I’m working on because I’ve taken a break from novel writing since July. More books will come when they come and I’ll let you all know!
Happy Fall, y’all!!
