Her Other Life – Day Six

Today I wrote 4,672/5K

Again, that was an entire chapter, so I quit when I was done.

Another emotional one today – more of the anger variety – which is always fun to write. I’m sure I overused exclamation points. I do love one!! Or two.

Today I signed the contract to have Susan Bischoff from The Forge Book Finishers do a content edit of Her Other Life. Susan and I have been writerly friends for quite a while now. We used to swap beta reads and if you haven’t read her Talent Chronicles books you totally should.

I screwed up last week thinking I only had one more scene/chapter to write in Part I. I actually have one more to write tomorrow and then I’ll move on to Act II beats and scene figuring outing. (Real term.) (( Grammarly hates me so much.))

The kids will be having a sleepover at the grandparent’s house on Wednesday to Thursday, so I’m hoping for lots of plotting and writing. They were actually great today and left me alone for the most part. They did ask for lunch, but it was lunch time and I needed a break too.

Right now, they are begging me to finish this up so we can make and decorate cookies.

I am super worn out. My belly button aches? But, cookies and candy and kids, so I will get a grip. 🙂
