Her Other Life – Day One

My goal for this week is to write 5K a day. Today I wrote 4,265. Not too shabby. That’s an entire chapter and I finished right before the kids got home from school. I thought that was a good stopping place.

It is plausible I will write over 5K on some days.

It is. Ha!

Health-wise, sitting happens to be the worst position for me to be in, so I wrote in 10-minute sprints with a short break in between. Sometimes that break was 10 minutes, sometimes 2. Sometimes lunch.

Overall I’m happy with how this project is going so far. Now, all the other projects and life stuff are a different matter. I just don’t have it in me to stay up all night writing anymore. I can write for about six hours tops and then I am done. Too bad I have way more than six hours worth of writing work each day!

Aw, well. I also managed to do some laundry, clean a toilet, and wash some dishes.

My whole life goal should be to learn some patience.
