#Crossing #Giveaway and Interpretive Dance

Crossing is live! To celebrate the release of my first New Adult Contemporary Romance with a helluva twist, I thought I’d do a Dani and Liam themed giveaway. Also, don’t miss the chance to see me embarrass myself! More info after the rafflecopter dealio.

Praise for Crossing:
“Beautiful. Heart wrenching. A true tale of love. It’ll make you laugh, cry, and have you running out to buy a tube of red lipstick.” RaShelle Workman, bestselling author of the Blood and Snow series

“I’ve never read a novel that made me run the gambit of so many emotions. This is a New Adult novel that can’t be missed!” Magan Vernon, International bestselling author of The Only Exception

“I found CROSSING a very emotional, romantic, sexy, super funny book. I love all the characters. Thank you for letting me read it, Stacey, and trusting me and the world with this wonderful story of yours.” Angela Carlie, author of Dream Smashers

He stole her lipstick…and her heart.

Twenty-year-old Dani Walker can’t believe her luck when she’s paired up with the gorgeous Liam Garrett as her Acting I scene partner – or when he ends up in her bed. Being a Plain Jane with a mouth on her hasn’t exactly served Dani well in the guy department. In fact, she’s had nothing but one night stands. Still, she lets go of her insecurities and falls for Liam, despite feeling like he’s holding something back.

When Dani finally discovers Liam’s secret, she must learn the true meaning of accepting the ones we love for who they are, or risk losing the best thing that’s ever happened to her.

Make-up plays a big part in Crossing and has always been one of my favorite things. I collect (hoard) eye shadow like a crazy person. Ooh, pretty colors! Sephora has all the things and $100 can get you quite a bit of the beautiful. (Open to US and Canadian residents only. I wanted to do an international giveaway, but the Sephora shipping charges would be lamesauce, yo.)

Now for the interpretive dance shenanigans: If I sell 1,000 copies of Crossing by 5 pm PST on Friday the 17th, I’ll post a YouTube video of my Total Eclipse of the Heart interpretive dance routine. Previously, this routine has only been performed at holiday parties and Girls Beach Weekend. And after a few adult beverages. I am not an awesome dancer, but I got heart, folks. That’s all I’m gonna say. 🙂

  1. I’ve definitely joined in on the BB Cream craze. I rarely wear foundation or anything because I have trouble finding shades that are pale enough for me and I hate the the process of trying to blend it and everything. BB’s are perfect! I get a little bit of light coverage, little moisturizer to keep my skin soft, and whatever else is in them to make my skin look happy in just a few minutes.

  2. My obsession is definitely eyeshadow and nail polish, and I’ve been itching to try/get Urban Decay’s primer potion and some of Sephora’s shadow palettes. You can never have too many! I’m not sure if we’re supposed to include our e-mail in the comment too, but my email is eclecticcharms/@live/./com

  3. I’m loving all of these comments! (And getting great ideas for things I want to get myself!)

  4. It used to be lipstick, but Patrick changed all that. Last time I was in Seattle I ducked into Sephora and asked a heavily made up clerk if he could help make my eyes stand out more. He ended up giving me a fabulous makeover. When it came time for the final touch – mascara – we had an argument. I don’t wear mascara. Patrick said, “Honey, if I only had time to put on one thing, it would be mascara.” And darned if he wasn’t right – I swear my irises look bluer and my eyes more vivid when I put it on. 😉

  5. I completely agree with Patrick. Mascara and tinted lip balm are my go-to.

  6. My one favorite? That’s impossible so I’ll give you a few- YSL Touche Eclat concealer, and Dior Show mascara, and Revlon Just Bitten lip color markers.=)

  7. Ohh! The book sounds interesting! Can’t wait to read more about Liam 🙂 and Congrats to you also! As for my fave beauty product. I don’t really use makeup or stuff like that but from Sephora, I buy Ouidad for my hair because it is definitely untameable and Ouidad helps with my unruly curls. Thank you so much!

  8. I love eyeliner and mascara! I have blonde eyelashes so I wear mascara all the time. Also, lotion. I love Bath and Body Works. I think a light smelling lotion is a lot better than perfumes. Oh and lets not forget lip gloss! I am an Avon Rep and I am always trying new colors! It’s fun change. 🙂

  9. Ooh! I do too. It’s been awhile since I’ve had the occasion to bust it out. Maybe for my high school reunion this summer? I think sexy eyes should distract folks from noticing my gut. 🙂

  10. Favorite beauty product- Mositurizer…I never knew how amazing it could be for your skin till recently. Total face changer ;).

  13. That’s tough. I’m a makeup whoooore! I guess I would have to choose my Too Faced lip injection gloss.

  14. I like free, expensive makeup that I can’t afford. LOL I also like interpretive dance!

  15. I would have to say mascara and eyeliner. I could not live without either.

  16. Oh, yes, the BB cream is my new joy. My makeup routine is now down to 5 minutes on work days, 3 minutes on mommy days.

  17. I just bought my first tube of BB today and a new mascara. I like how the BB covers better than tinted moisturizer.

  18. EOS lipbalms are my fave. I think I have all of them.

    And also Mascara.

I’m not huge on makeup — but Mascara is a must every day.

    Book looks great!
