#ROW80 update

I’ve been failing all around at my goals, which is a sure sign that I need to change them. Usually, not toward the more forgiving either.

Found is completely plotted, as is my pen name short story collection. If I write a chapter a week on Found, I can have it out Fallish like I planned.  So, new goal, write a chapter a week on Found.

I have two long weekend vacations coming up in August. I plan on bringing a laptop on both and trying to get some work done as I will be child-free.

I’m also changing my goal of no more stats checking except Sundays, to spend less time on the internet in general. Mine was out for a day and I got so much done!

Author: Stacey Wallace

Stacey Wallace is the author of The Retroact Saga, Day of Sacrifice Omnibus, Open Door Love Story series, and multiple short stories. Her latest novel, Her Other Life, is a stand-alone novel of magical realism.

  1. I also only check-in on Sundays, but that doesn’t keep me out of the internet lol
It’s like when twitter crashes. It’s awkward, but I wish it stayed out of the air for longer so I can get more done! My husband always jokes he’ll hire an internet service that only works when it isn’t my writing hours 😉
    Have a great week!

  2. Stacey, there are just times when we simply have productivity problems. That’s because we’re human and not perfect. I was a lazy butt in Round Two. I just made up my mind that was going to change in Round Three, and so far, so good. I know you’ll get your mojo back. Take a deep breath and relax. Actually, relaxing is pretty much how I got back in the groove. (Did I actually use the words mojo and groove?)

  3. It seems like I have two lazy rounds a year and two productive ones. 🙂 As always, I’ll continue to try to stop worrying about everything so much!!

  4. Once a week check-in is all I have in me, I’m afraid. Strangely enough, I can get my work done just fine with my two little ones (unless there is sickness) but if my husband is around, it all goes right out the window!

Hope you get a lot done on your vacation.
