I keep thinking it’s Friday already and #ROW80 update

One of the downsides of never leaving my house to go to work is that I don’t know what day it is half the time!  Also, I killed a lot of brain cells in the ’90’s. 🙂 So, I thought today was Friday and was getting excited for it to be the weekend, but lo, it is only Wednesday and the day before trash day.  Not quite as excited anymore.

I’d like to encourage everyone to pick up a copy of Kiss Me, Kill Me.  It’s an anthology of short stories by nine indie authors and it is only 99 cents!  All the proceeds go to GreaterGood.org.  Last I checked it was ranked 127 on Barnes and Noble.  Mo money, mo books for kids!  Sweet!  You can find it at Amazon , Barnes and Noble and Smashwords.  The story I wrote for it, If You Leave, is one of my most favorite things I’ve ever written.  I love the characters of Gabrielle and Jorge so much I’m considering writing more short stories about them for my own enjoyment.

J.L. Bryan is having an AWESOME giveaway.  Today only guys!

My ROW80 update:  I’ve decided to put Glow away until I finish Dormant.  I wrote 275 words on Monday and 443 yesterday.  It’s going well and I hope to add more to it this afternoon.  Once it’s done and published I can get back to Glow and concentrate on it solely.

Happy day before trash day!

  1. I literally only know if it’s Wednesday because of ROW80. Keeping up with days and times is hard, yo. 😀

It’s called bin day for us btw, otherwise known as the morning the big ass dog pisses herself and tries to hide in my bed out of fear of the noisy bugger binmen.

Hope the rest of Dormant goes well!

  2. Mmmm . . “Published” . . what a beautiful word. 🙂 Great motivating word too.

Happy Pre-Trash Day to you too! I have a hard time keeping track of those kinds of things. lol

  3. Bin day, got it. My friend in culinary school, Lisette, was from Canada and was always talking about the garburator. I think it was a couple of months before I figured out she was talking about the garbage disposal. 🙂
Bin day is a fun one at our house. The kids like to wait for the truck and wave to the guys. Sometimes we follow it up the street. Big excitement in these parts! Ha!
Thanks for the well wishes for Dormant. I of course came up with a great plot twist for Glow today. Oh, brains.

  4. Yes, published is a great motivator. So is telling a bunch of people a story will be out in April! lol Time to knock this story out!
