Excuse me while I fall over.

My vertigo is back.  Awesome.  I only have a crapload of things to do this week, one of which is take my transcription final.  The last episode, from September to October, lasted for five weeks and was way worse than it is this time, but I still can’t get into or out of bed without feeling like I’m on a tilt-a-whirl.  I know I should go to the doctor, but who really wants to find out the reason they are falling over?  None of them can be good or even not that bad.  Rampant ear infection?  Sinus cysts?  Brain tumor?  (This is when my knowledge of medical stuff totally screws me.)

Enough about what sucks, here’s some good news:  Glimpse cracked the top 100 in two categories on Amazon yesterday!  It has promptly fallen off the lists today, but for a few hours I was right alongside Richelle Mead, Meg Cabot, and Sarah Dessen!  The categories were Love & Romance, and Girls & Women.  I have a feeling that these will be the categories Glimpse will slip into the top 100 of from time to time.  Also,  I’m featured on Indie Spotlight today and will appear on the main page for the rest of the week.  And I have two more reviews/interviews coming up on A Fanatic’s Book Blog and Amanda Hocking’s blog.  Jessica at A Fanatic’s Book Blog has a Summer reading challenge going on right now.  I’m giving her two copies of Glimpse to giveaway during it, so check it out and sign up!

Other excitement going on this week: Two dress rehearsals for King Midas with most of the cast and crew. (Major accomplishment). I’m headed back to IKEA to order my cabinets and this time those bitches are gonna let me have my Nexus Yellow-Brown Aksram or I’m going to throw a hissy fit the likes of which has never been seen.  Then I’ll probably fall over because I will have agitated my vertigo. 🙂  And the topper of the week is Eclipse on Saturday morning!!!  I’m super excited.  It is my favorite book out of the series.  I’m going on Saturday morning instead of midnight tomorrow because I actually want to be able to hear the dialogue over the screaming girls every time Jacob takes his shirt off or Bella and Edward almost make out. It’s not that I don’t get excited over these things too, but I can keep my excitement inside instead of vocalizing it.  Teenage fans are what the midnight shows were made for.  Saturday mornings are for Soccer Mom’s and comparably aged gay men.  Then it’s the 4th of July and my mom’s birthday!  Good stuff coming up-way more than bad, let’s just hope I can remain upright for most of it.
